Glenarn Garden - walk with owners Mike and Sue Thornley to celebrate rhododendrons at Glenarn from the Plant Hunters - at peak flowering time.

29th April | 2.30 pm
Glenarn holds a superb collection of rhododendrons and other plants that came as seed to Scottish gardens from the 1920s to the present day, discovered by plant hunters such as Ludlow and Sherriff, Kingdon Ward, and more recently, the Cox family. Some are rare, others highly endangered and all are fascinating for their huge variety of shapes, foliage and of course their wonderful flowers. You will learn about their personal stories, how they thrive and are propagated for the future.
